our Methodology

We have a rigorous yet highly efficient process for assessing brand strength and positioning to identify insights and opportunities to accelerate market performance, drive revenue, and build brand equity. We evaluate tangible and intangible brand attribute strength across the three pillars of high-performing and high-value brands: Market Opportunity Alignment, Equity Attribute Strength, and Constituent Alignment. Aligned with stakeholder objectives, evaluations reveal opportunities for remedy and optimization to improve market performance and brand equity strength. The process identifies where and how to directly impact performance, revenue, and value.

The process starts with stakeholders, management, employees, and customer discovery. This learning is then aligned with objective-driven market and competitive research. For early-stage businesses, we align stakeholder objectives with market opportunity and competitive dynamics to define differentiated and sustainable positioning. For more mature brands, we leverage our cloud-based evaluation and indexing platform to evaluate the strength of their current positioning and assess and score the relative strength or weakness of brand/business attributes that directly contribute to performance and value.

The output is a comprehensive Findings Report that informs and guides the development of competitive positioning while identifying opportunities for remedy or optimization to achieve sustained success. Findings identify and prioritize strategies and tactics to increase market performance, refine and prioritize messaging, define brand architecture, articulate or improve positioning to align with market opportunity, and grow brand equity while determining the best use of spend.
